I suggest you take some time to watch this video:
Dollar A Second was a 1950′s comedy game show in which contestants were paid a dollar for every second the game was in play. First broadcast by the DuMont Television Network, the program was quite entertaining with some tricky twists and turns. The first contestant in this episode, Bernice Sawyer, is very intelligent but at times seems startled, even afraid of robust host, Jan Murray, and his rapid fire delivery. This is believed to be the only surviving episode and is complete with the original commercials. An interesting aspect of the show is watching how commercial sponsors were plugged in the early days of television; in this case, Mogen David Wine. This movie brought to you by hwy61media.
