I recommend you take some time to watch this video: Dave (ZL1BJQ) tries making ladder line. A $2 plastic chopping board is cut into strips about 100mm by 8mm with slots cut in the ends. The insulated wires are compressed to fit into the slots whilst held in a vice to keep parallel. The slots are then filled with hot melt glue. ...
