Double cutting is easy with a Skillmill. The Skillmill can cut 4″ in one pass, but you can get an 8″ wide board by Double cutting (cutting in from the other side of the blade. No guard removal, no turning the mill around, just a simple pivot. You can also fit an Alaskan Chainsaw Slabber to the Skillmill Portable Sawmill frame. It’s easy to push through and vertical sizing is simple and is adjustable from the operators end of the mill.
